Online Maps Mini-Unit Directions

  1.  Locate 2 websites that have online maps - find driving directions between two cities in the United States that are least 3 states apart
  2.  Use Screen Shot to copy screen image to a Word document
  3.  Answer the following questions:

1. List out at least 3 for each of the following: the states, river crossings or lakes, mountains/peaks, cities, and major highways throughtout route
    

2. Explain a time where you or someone that you know has used online maps or a GPS to plan a trip? If not, explain how online maps or GPS could be useful in planning a trip.
    

3. What are the similarities and differences of your two websites? (at least 3 of each)
    

4. Predict the future use of online maps.
